TRAVELING CROSS COUNTRY CA TO KY! As a special education teacher/private school administrator in CA for over 20 years, I was ready to embrace the world of puppies and feed the need to nurture something cute and fuzzy as a much-needed therapy support for me, my co-teachers and our students!  Four years ago, in 2021, our family moved 9 dogs, 1 litter of puppies, 2 small baby goats, 1 cat, and 5 rabbits to our 30-acre farm in KY.  We were all inside the largest RV we could find, and we were literally a traveling zoo; every stop we made attracted the attention of those around us!

WE LOVE OUR FAMILIES! Since being here in KY, we have had to learn an entirely new way of life, including, STOP being in a hurry all the time and SLOW DOWN: three speeding tickets later, I did learn that the KY State Troopers do NOT tolerate speeding, 55 means 55 on our rural highways. The pace of life in Kentucky moves at a much SLOWER pace than in CA. I have been a full-time stay-at-home DOG MOM for the last 4 years. I may be physically exhausted at the end of each day, but I absolutely LOVE what I do! Raising dogs and puppies is not for the faint of heart. I want to especially give a heart-felt thanks of appreciation for those many families who had puppies with us during our Parvovirus outbreak. The love and support we received from you during this time, when you were scared to death yourselves, bolstered our resolve day-by-day.

ONLY THE BEST! Raising the best puppies possible is our goal, a puppy that integrates into his/her new family with minimal puppy upsets. In the first few years of breeding, our strain of parasites were resistant to the most common puppy wormer.  Since being on the farm here in KY, I have been tutored by our amazing country veterinarian, Dr. Brian Dyer, in learning how to prepare stool samples for evaluation on our own microscope and provide appropriate and effective treatment based on the results. This is only one of the many ways we ensure the quality of our puppies!

2025 WAS SCARY! This last year was a challenge. My husband, Rob, was ill for most of the Spring season with horrendous kidney stones. He started running a high fever and was examined by every medical specialist, with no cause found.  He was told he was just fighting off a virus.  Finally, the gastroenterologist told us to get an echocardiogram for his heart, as he may be fighting a heart infection.  He had the procedure done the very next morning, and he was admitted to the hospital that afternoon.  He had an 8cm growth on his Aortic valve that was abscessed deep into the aortic root.  They did blood cultures to determine the type of fungal growth.  After 2 weeks of IV antibiotics to get the infection under control and a transfer to the University of Kentucky Heart Institute, a top heart transplant surgeon performed a full aortic valve and root transplant, replacing 16cm of tissue.  By this point, Rob had lost 45 lbs, and he was so weak, skinny, and frail that his recovery was slow.  We are blessed and thankful to report that at this time, he has regained his health and his muscle mass. He is back to working full-time on the farm. In the meantime, an entire network of amazing people continued to love, guide, clean, and socialize our puppies.  My assistant Jasper became proficient at using the microscope and followed all of our established protocols with excellence!

BE OUR GUEST! This summer, we finally completed the guest cottage on our property.  If you are passing through Kentucky, we'd love to host you as our guest!  Bline Family Farm Cottage. God has blessed us with amazing people in our lives, awesome and exceptional furry animals here on our farm, and arms always full of puppies.  We hope that your puppy from the Bline Family Farm has been a happy blessing for your family, as this is the reason we do what we do!

OUR HEART DOGS! We are now breeding Aussies, Aussiedoodles, and Long-Haired Dachshunds, both standard and miniature sized. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our business and ministry to each family that we touch with our puppies.  May you feel and recognize God's Blessings in your life, not only today, but always.  We sincerely appreciate your help in evaluating our breeding program!

Love, The Bline Family
